Please follow the instruction below: 1.­ Download the file and burn it into a CD.­ 2.­ Once the CD is burnt,­ place it into the DVR950 and let it run.­ 3.­ It will automatically detect the new firmware and ask you if you want to upgrade.­ 4.­ Move the highlight 'Yes' for confirming to upgrade the unit (Move the cursor to left).­ 5.­ It will run the disc for few seconds.­ Then tray will pop out.­ 6.­ Once the tray is out,­ thake out the dis.­ Then the upgrade will start.­ 7.­ During the upgrade,­ make sure not to shut the power off by any chance.­ 8.­ Once it has finished the upgrade,­ it will automatically restart the unit.­ 9.­ After the upgrade is finished,­ go to 'Setup' -> 'HDD Format'.­ Format the HDD.­ [Note] If you format the HDD,­ you will lose all date that you have recorded.­ [Note] If you have any important data in HDD,­ backup to DVD.­
